Your time, respect, and trust matter. Please review these booking details and policies before your appointment.
Late Arrivals
A $25 late fee will be charged for arrivals more than 15 minutes late. Your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled, and additional fees may apply if the service exceeds the allotted time.
1+ Hour Late
Arrivals more than 1 hour late without prior notice will result in cancellation of the appointment.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Late cancellations are charged 50% of the service price. No-shows are charged 100% of the service price. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, which help us maintain the quality of our services for all clients.
Appointment Changes
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your appointment.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. Deposits may be transferred once to a rescheduled appointment.

Yes. A consultation is required for microloc installations and transfer clients. We assess your hair, discuss loc size and method, and provide a personalized quote. DM @_ladylocstarstudio on Instagram to book.

### How often should locs be maintained?

Reties are generally recommended every 5–8 weeks, depending on your hair and loc needs. Your first retie is typically around five weeks after installation. Book ahead to keep your maintenance on schedule.

### How can I care for my locs between appointments?

Gentle handling, a clean scalp, and avoiding excessive tension can help preserve the condition of locs between visits. A loctician provide  a simple home-care routine that fits the needs of the hair and locs.

### What should I consider before starting locs?

Starting locs involves choosing a method, size, and maintenance approach that align with the hair and the desired long-term look. A consultation with a professional can help clarify these choices and set realistic expectations for the journey.

### What are your booking policies?

A deposit is required to secure your appointment. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. Arrive alone: guests and extra children are not permitted in the studio.
